Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 23, 2026

About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how The New Hurricane Tour LLC, doing business as the Arnold Palmer Junior Golf Tour (“APJGT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with (1) our website at apjgt.com and any related subdomains or online services we operate (the “Site”); (2) registration for and participation in our junior golf tournaments and related programs (the “Tour”); and (3) communications we send to you by email, text message, or otherwise (together with the Site and the Tour, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Children and Parental Consent

The APJGT is designed for junior golfers, many of whom are under eighteen (18) and some of whom are under thirteen (13). Accounts for junior golfers must be created by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from any child; a parent or legal guardian submits all information about a junior golfer when creating the account, registering the child, authorizing payment, and managing the child’s participation.

In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and the FTC’s COPPA Rule, we provide the following notice regarding personal information about children under thirteen (13):

  • What we collect about children under 13. From a parent or legal guardian who registers a child under 13, we collect the child’s first and last name, date of birth, gender, age division, home course or club, golf-related performance data (including tournament scores and round statistics), photographs taken at events, and any other information the parent chooses to provide (such as medical or dietary notes relevant to safe participation).
  • How we use it. We use this information to register the child for tournaments, administer competition, generate tee times and leaderboards, maintain player profiles and historical results, communicate with the parent about the child’s participation, and provide the Services generally.
  • How we share it. We share this information with vendors that help us operate the Tour (such as our tournament management software, website hosting, email delivery, and text-messaging platforms) and with our payment processor to process the parent’s payment. We do not share a child’s personal information with any academy coach or other outside third party unless the parent has specifically consented to that sharing through the account portal. We do not sell children’s personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Parent rights. At any time, a parent or legal guardian may: (i) review the personal information we have collected about the child; (ii) direct us to delete that information; and (iii) refuse to permit the further collection or use of the child’s information. Exercising rights (ii) or (iii) may mean the child can no longer be registered for or compete in our tournaments. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details under “Contact Us” below. We will take reasonable steps to verify that the request is being made by the child’s parent or legal guardian before acting on it.

Information We Collect

Parent account information. When a parent or legal guardian creates an account, we collect first and last name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and the parent’s stated relationship to the junior golfer.

Junior golfer registration information. As described under “Children and Parental Consent” above, the parent enters the child’s first and last name, date of birth, gender, age division, home course or club, and similar details needed to register and seed the child in events, together with any medical or dietary information the parent chooses to provide.

Payment information. Entry fees, membership fees, and any other payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, which is currently Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). You enter your card information directly on Stripe’s hosted checkout, and Stripe returns a limited transaction confirmation to us (such as the last four digits of the card, card brand, and transaction result). We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe’s handling of payment data is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy.

Tournament and performance information. During and after an event, we collect scoring information, tee times, pace-of-play notes, rules decisions, and similar competitive data. We may also take or receive photographs of players at events.

Communications. When you contact us by email, telephone, or through the Site, or when we send you registration confirmations, receipts, scheduling emails, event-day alerts, or marketing messages, we collect the content of those communications together with your contact details.

Site usage information. When you visit the Site, we automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. We use this information to operate and secure the Site. We do not use the Site to deliver cross-site targeted advertising.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • create and administer parent accounts and junior-golfer profiles;
  • register junior golfers for events, generate tee times, maintain leaderboards, and publish results and historical statistics;
  • process entry fees, membership fees, refunds, and tour credits;
  • send registration confirmations, receipts, tee-time notifications, event-day alerts, scheduling updates, and administrative messages;
  • send marketing emails and, where you have opted in, SMS alerts;
  • respond to inquiries and provide customer service;
  • maintain the safety of participants at our events and administer the Code of Conduct in our Tour Policies;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and violations of our Terms of Use; and
  • comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

How We Share Information

We share information only as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, including our tournament management software provider, website hosting provider, email delivery provider, text-messaging platform, and Stripe. Service providers are permitted to use the information only to perform the services we have asked them to provide.

Academy coaches (with parental consent). A junior golfer’s academy coach can view and register the child only after the parent has specifically consented to that coach’s access in the account portal. The parent may revoke that consent at any time by removing the coach in the portal or by contacting us.

NCSA, IMG Academy, and the College Recruitment Portal (separate opt-in consent). We may share your personal information with NCSA, IMG Academy, and/or the College Recruitment Portal only after you have provided separate, explicit opt-in consent to sharing with the applicable third party. For information about a junior golfer, that consent must be provided by the golfer’s parent or legal guardian. Without that consent, we will not share the information with those third parties. Registering for or using the Services, accepting this Privacy Policy, or authorizing tournament publication does not constitute consent to this sharing. This consent requirement applies notwithstanding any other sharing described in this section.

Tournament publication. Scoring information, tee times, pairings, player names, age divisions, home courses, and photographs taken at events are published on the Site and in event materials. By registering a junior golfer, the parent authorizes publication of this information and the release of the golfer’s scores and photographs to junior-golf scoring services, college coaches, golf publications, and similar outlets.

Legal and safety. We may share information where we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, to respond to lawful requests from government authorities, to enforce our Terms of Use or Tour Policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the APJGT, its participants, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our assets, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Text Messages (SMS)

If you opt in, we may send you text messages about upcoming events, event-day alerts, authentication codes, and similar information. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and request help by replying HELP. We do not sell or share text-message opt-in or consent data with any third party for purposes unrelated to delivering the messaging service.

Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in and remembering preferences) and for basic analytics that help us understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; if you block cookies, parts of the Site may not work as intended.

Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain tournament records and historical results, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need personal information, we delete or de-identify it.

Your Choices

  • Update or correct your account information by signing into your account or contacting us.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
  • Stop text messages by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
  • Ask us to delete your account by contacting us. We may retain limited information after an account is closed where we are permitted or required to do so by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as tournament records, tax, and chargeback evidence).

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, Stripe’s checkout, junior-golf scoring services, host-course sites, and social media). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy notices of any third-party sites you visit.
